A few years ago, I used to set myself food related challenges, such as try to cook a new recipe each week, or cook regional foods from various places. I had started an international bread challenge, where I attempted to bake 26 different recipes, something from a country for each letter of the alphabet.

The first few recipes are on my old blog but I only got as far as the letter E. I attempted croissants for F but my first attempt didn’t rise enough. They tasted fine though.

My second attempt was based on the recipe which came with our bread maker. The results were much more acceptable.
